August 15, 2011 § 2 Comments

Nyree Belleville in an interview published in the “books” section in today’s Albany, New York Times Union, reports being overjoyed with the results of self-publishing. The author of erotica under the pseudonym Bella Andre and romance novels as Bella Riley, Belleville was asked about the transition from traditional to self publishing.

“I was definitely bummed when my contract with Random House was not picked up again, but it was the best thing that ever happened,” she states. “I got into self-publishing. It’s ridiculoulsy rewarding. I don’t say when a door closed, a window opened – it’s like the whole wall flew off.”

Belleville has 10 book available in e-book editions and reports having sold 170,000 copies.
