The Expendable Man made the best seller’s list…at one bookstore. Hey, that’s better than a poke in the eye, as people used to say.
I’m number 11 on the list of books sold in 2011 at Mysteries on Main Street in Johnstown, NY. Thank you to Pat Locatelli for giving my book a chance to compete with The Help (#2), the Farmer’s Almanac (#5) and Bill O’Reilly’s Killing Lincoln (#6).
Congratulations also to Shannon Delaney for coming in at #9 with 13 to Life.
Pat may still have one or two signed copies of The Expendable Man available. So, if you live in Fulton County, NY, stop by and pick up a copy. Let’s see if we can get that book into the top 10 for 2012!
The Expendable Man may have competition, however. I’m close to publishing a mystery entitled “Making the Grade” and I’m working on another suspense story which I would like to make available in time for the 2012 holiday shopping season.
P.S.: If Albany or Schenectady are closer to your abode than Johnstown, you can also pick up a copy of The Expendable Man at The Open Door (on Jay St. in Schenectady) and The Book House (in Stuyvesant Plaza in Albany).
P.P.S.: IPad, Nook and Kindle owners can also find copies online for less than the hard cover…although those versions are unsigned.
